Bitcoin Boat Meetup
Once a year, Bitcoin Club Malta takes to the sea. An afternoon on the Mediterranean with Malta's Bitcoin community — one of the most anticipated events in the BCM calendar.

A day on the Mediterranean
The annual BCM boat day takes a group of Bitcoiners out onto the water for a full afternoon. Open sea, good conversations, and no altcoins.
The best networking in Malta
You cannot leave early. You cannot check your phone every five minutes. Boat days create the kind of unhurried conversation that turns acquaintances into collaborators.
Malta's coastline from the water
The Maltese archipelago looks different from the sea — limestone cliffs, hidden bays, and the Grand Harbour framed by centuries of fortification. A hard view to beat.
Lightning payments on board
BCM boat days run on Bitcoin. Refreshments, event fees, and any on-board commerce happen over Lightning. Bring a charged wallet.
A BCM tradition
The boat meetup has been part of the BCM calendar for years. It started informally — a few members who wanted to see Malta from the water — and grew into one of the community's most attended annual events.
For many members, the boat day is where they have had their most valuable conversations about Bitcoin — away from screens, with the attention that open water naturally creates. Speakers, developers, investors, and curious newcomers all in the same space.
How to join the next boat day
Boat day tickets are available to BCM members first — become a member to get early access.
The event is announced through the BCM newsletter and Telegram group — make sure you're subscribed.
Spaces are limited by boat capacity. If the event sells out, join the waitlist through the events page.
Payment is in Bitcoin over Lightning. Bring a charged mobile wallet on the day.
